Home My WebLink AboutELEC COMM 2005-03-17 MINUTES OF THE ELECTION COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LIVONIA, MICHIGAN A meeting of the Election Commission of the City of Livonia, Michigan, was held on Thursday, March 17, 2005 at the Livonia City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan at 10 07 A.M , at which time and place the following members of said Commission were present: Present: Val Vandersloot, City Clerk Jack Engebretson, Mayor Sean P Kavanagh, City Attorney Val Vandersloot assumed the duties as Chairperson of the Election Commission Upon a motion by Commissioner Engebretson, supported by Commissioner Kavanagh, and unanimously adopted, it was RESOLVED that the minutes of the Election Commission meeting held on January 26, 2005 be hereby approved Upon a motion by Commissioner Kavanagh, supported by Commissioner Engebretson, and unanimously adopted, it was RESOLVED that the School and City Precincts will be the same in all elections held in the City of Livonia This applies to the Livonia Public Schools and the Clarenceville Public Schools Upon a motion by Commissioner Kavanagh, supported by Commissioner Engebretson, and unanimously adopted, it was Minutes of March 17, 2005 Election Commission Meeting Page 2 RESOLVED that for the May 3, 2005 Election, the following precincts will be consolidated for Livonia Public Schools Livonia Precincts Consolidated Precinct Polling Place 8A & 8B 8A Taylor School 16B & 17B 16B Hoover School 22A & 22B 22A Kennedy School 23A & 23B 23A Roosevelt School 24A & 24B 24B Adams School 25A & 36A 25A Emerson J H S 31A & 31B 31A Washington School 35B & 35C 35B McKinley School Westland Precincts Consolidated Precinct Polling Place 12 & 25 & 35 W-25 Cooper School 27 & 36 W-36 Nankin Mills 15 & 16 W-15 Greenwood Villa 40 & 41 W-41 Johnson School 42 & 21 W-21 Johnson School Upon a motion by Commissioner Engebretson, supported by Commissioner Kavanagh, and unanimously adopted, it was RESOLVED that for the May 3, 2005 Election, the following precincts will be consolidated for Clarenceville Schools Precincts Consolidated Precinct Polling Place 1A & 1 B 1A Clarenceville J H S Minutes of March 17, 2005 Election Commission Meeting Page 3 Upon a motion by Commissioner Kavanagh, seconded by Commissioner Engebretson, and unanimously adopted, this meeting of the Election Commission of the City of Livonia was adjourned at 10 16 A.M , March 17, 2005 Val Vandersloot Election Commission Chairperson sah cc Members (3) Assistant City Clerk File
