CITY OF LIVONIA
MARCH 14, 1968
A meeting of the Election Commission of the City of Livonia was held on
March 14, 1968 at the Livonia City Hall at approximately 3 55 P M. , at which
time and place the following members of said commission were present
Harvey W Moelke Mayor
Steve Polgar City Attorney
Addison W Bacon C ity Clerk
Pursuant to Section 5 , Chapter III of the Charter of the City of Livonia,
City Clerk, Addison W. Bacon presided over the meeting as Chairman of the
Commission
The Chairman stated that the meeting was called for purpose of acting
upon a request from Hearthstone Civic Association for 300 sample ballots to
be distributed to subdivision residents for instructional purposes, and pre-
sentation of the ballot to be used for the Regular Election, Monday, April 1,
1968.
On a motion by Conuuissioner Moelke, supported by Commissioner Polgar, and
unanimously adopted, it was
RESOLVED, that the Election Commission does hereby authorize
the Chairman of the Election Commission to furnish sample
instruction ballots to Hearthstone Subdivision, and further to
furnish such instruction ballots to others as authorized by
State law, to a maximum of 1,000 ballots
On a motion by Commissioner Moelke, supported by Commissioner Polgar,
and unanimously adopted, it was
RESOLVED, that this meeting stand adjourned at approximately 4 00 P M.
