Home My WebLink AboutELEC COMM 1975-08-05 MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE ELECTION COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LIVONIA AUGUST 5, 1975 A meeting of the Election Commission of the City of Livonia was held August 5, 1975 at the Livonia City Hall at 33001 Five Mile Road at approximately 11 00 A M at which time and place the following members of said commission were present Edward H McNamara Mayor Addison W Bacon Clerk Pursuant to Section 5, Chapter III of the Charter of the City of Livonia, City Clerk, Addison W. Bacon, presided over the meeting as Chairman of the Commission. U pon a motion by Commissioner McNamara, supported by Commissioner Bacon, and unanimously adopted, it was RESOLVED, the minutes of the meeting of October 11, 1974 be approved as presented. Upon a motion by Commissioner McNamara, supported by Commissioner Bacon, and unanimously adopted, it was RESOLVED, that the Election Inspectors listed on the schedule attached hereto, and made a part of these minutes, are duly appointed to the City Primary Election Boards of September 9, 1975. Upon a motion by Couuuissioner McNamara, supported by Commissioner Bacon, and unanimously adopted, it was RESOLVED, that compensation for the day of September 9, 1975 by $32 00 for inspectors, $36.00 for chairmen, and further, that each appointed inspector attending instruction meeting be reimbursed at the rate of $5.00 per meeting Upon a motion by Commissioner McNamara, supported by Commissioner Bacon, and unanimously adopted, it was RESOLVED, that six (6) Absent Voter Counting Boards be established to be identified as Counting Boards "1" through "6" and that said boards be located in the Senior Citizen Activity Building, 15218 Farmington Road, for the purpose of tallying Absent Voter Ballots as required by law. 2 # 8A--Taylor School, 36611 Curtis ImmoJoan Coe, Chrm.
