iso CITY OF LIVONIA, MICHIGAN
A meeting of the Election Commission of the City of Livonia,
Michigan, was held on Monday, August 2, 1993 at the Livonia
City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Dr. , Livonia, Michigan at
approximately 2 : 10 P.M. , at which time and place the
following members of said commission were present:
Present: Joan McCotter, City Clerk
Robert D. Bennett, Mayor
Harry Tatigian, City Attorney
Absent: None
Joan McCotter assumed Chairperson of the Election
Commission.
Upon a motion by Commissioner Tatigian, supported by
Commissioner Bennett and unanimously adopted, it was
RESOLVED that the minutes of the Election Commission
meeting held on Tuesday, May 4 , 1993 , be hereby approved.
Upon a motion by Commissioner Bennett, supported by
Commissioner Tatigian, and unanimously adopted, it was
RESOLVED that the Election Inspectors listed on the
schedule attached hereto, and made a part of these minutes,
are duly appointed to the Election Boards for Special School
Election to be held on Monday, August 30 , 1993 .
Upon a motion by Commissioner Bennett, supported by
Commissioner Tatigian, and unanimously adopted, it was
RESOLVED that the Election Inspectors listed on the
schedule attached hereto, and made a part of these minutes,
are duly appointed to the Election Boards for City Primary
Election to be held on Tuesday, September 14 , 1993 .
io Upon a motion by Commissioner Tatigian, supported by
Commissioner Bennett, and unanimously adopted, it was
RESOLVED that the Election Commission recommends that
the City Council grant a $10 per day wage increase to the
Election Chairpersons and Inspectors thus making the
compensation for the day of Monday, August 30 , 1993 , and
Tuesday, September 14 , 1993 , $80 . 00 for each inspector,
$90 . 00 for each Chairperson and further that each appointed
member required to attend an instructional meeting be
reimbursed at the rate of $5 . 00 per meeting.
There being no further business to come before the
Commission, the Chairman declared the meeting adjourned at
approximately 2 :11 P.M. , Monday, August 2 , 1993 .
