MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY FOR INSTALLING
ORNAMENTAL STREET LIGHTING WITH UNDERGROUND WIRING
ON THE INDUSTRIAL ROAD IN SECTION 26
On November 26, 1973, the above hearing was held at the City Hall,
33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the
President of the Council at 8 45 P M. Present. Robert F Nash, Edward G.
Milligan, Robert E. McCann, Robert D Bennett, Jerry Brown, Peter A Ventura,
and Jerry Raymond. Absent. None.
The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance
No. 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public
Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special
Assessment Procedure," the City Council is opening a public hearing on the
Necessity for installing ornamental street lighting with underground wiring on
the Industrial Road from Merriman Road easterly to the west line of the Kroger
Company property in Section 26, City of Livonia
There were approximately twenty-five people present.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due
consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office
of the City Clerk.
The Public Hearing was declared closed at 9 05 P M , November 26,
1973
