HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1972-10-30 PETITION 1972-07-01-37 '3333 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON VARIOUS ZONING PETITIONS On October 30, 1972, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the Vice- President of the Council at 8 41 P.M Present Edward G. Milligan, Robert E McCann, Robert D. Bennett, Jerry Brown, Peter A. Ventura, and Jerry Raymond. Absent Robert F. Nash. Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other requirements of Ordinance No 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled The Vice-President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the Zoning Act (M.S.A Section 5 2934), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change in the Zoning Ordinance. Petition No 72-7-1-37 submitted by Harold Fischer for Elsner & Antonishek for a change of zoning of property located on the north side of Ann Arbor Trail between Levan and Wayne Roads in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 32 from RUF (Rural Urban Farms) to R-7 (Multiple Family Residential) Petition No 72-6-1-33 submitted by Ellsworth K. Hanlon for Rouge Employees Credit Union for a change of zoning of property located on the north- west corner of Plymouth Road and Globe in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 29, from M-1 (Light Manufacturing) to C-1 (Local Business) Petition No 72-6-1-34 submitted by Joseph St Cyr for Christ C. Mugianis for a change of zoning of property located on the south side of Plymouth Road between Levan and Yale in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 32, from RUF (Rural Urban Farm) to P (Parking) The Public Hearing was declared closed at 9 30 P M , October 30, 1972 ADDISON W.
