MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY FOR THE
PAVING OF PURLINGBROOK AVENUE, FROM THE SOUTH
LINE OF THE SENIOR CITIZENS APARTMENT SITE
NORTHERLY TO ST. MARTINS, LOCATED IN SECTION 2
On June 26, 1972, the above hearing was held at the City Hall,
33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the
President of the Council at 8:33 P.M. Present: Robert F. Nash, Edward G.
Milligan, Jerry H. Brown, Peter A. Ventura, Jerry Raymond, and Robert D.
Bennett. Absent: Robert E. McCann.
The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance
No. 401, as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of
Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and
a Special Assessment Procedure," the City Council is opening a public hearing
on Necessity for the paving of Purlingbrook Avenue, from the south line of the
Senior Citizens Apartment site northerly to St. Martins, located in Section 2,
City of Livonia.
There were approximate y twenty-five persons present.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due
consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office
of the City Clerk.
The public hearing was declared closed at 9:25 P.M., June 26, 1972.
