MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITION 71-1-1-3
On May 17, 1971, the above hearing was held at the City Hall,
33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Robert E.
McCann acting as Chairman at 8:15 P. M. Present: Peter A. Ventura, Robert E.
McCann and Robert D. Bennett. Absent: Jerry H. Brown, Jerry Raymond, Edward
G. Milligan and Robert F. Nash.
Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance,
the City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to
the hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change
and all other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have
been fulfilled.
The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth
in Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the
City Zoning Act (M.S.A. Section 5.2934), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance
543, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of
Livonia is holding a public hearing relative to a request for a change in the
Zoning Ordinance.
Petition 71-1-1-3 submitted by Hyman Gold for a change of zoning in
Section 8 from P.S. (Professional Service) to C-2 (Gen Bus.)
The public hearing was declared closed at 8:45 P. M., May 17, 1971.
