HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1970-08-19 SAD GOLD MANOR SUB 11563 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR THE INSTALLATION OF STREET LIGHTS IN GOLD MANOR SUB., GOLD MANOR SUB. #2, GOLD MANOR SUB. #3, & PART OF BEATRICE GARDENS AND DENMAR FTATF.q SUB. On August 19, 1970, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at 9:13 P. M. Present: Robert F. Nash, Jerry H. Brown, Robert E. McCann, Peter A. Ventura, and Robert D. Bennett. Absent: Jerry Raymond and Edward G. Milligan. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, of the City of Livonia, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure", and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance No. 401, as amended, the City Council is opening a public hearing for the purpose of reviewing the assessment roll for the installation of street lights in Gold Manor Sub., Gold Manor Sub #2, Gold Manor Sub. #3, and part of Beatrice Gardens and Denmar Estates Sub. There were approximately ten people in the audience. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the Office of the City Clerk.
