MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY OF INSTALLING STREET LIGHTS
IN HEARTHSTONE SUB. AND HEARTHSTONE SUB. #2 & PEMBRENT SUB. IN
SECTION 1
On June 11, 1969, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five
Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council
at 7:07 P. M. Present: Edward H. McNamara, Rudolf R. Kleinert, Robert E. McCann, and
Edward G. Milligan. Absent: Peter A. Ventura, Jerry Raymond, and Robert F. Nash.
There were approximately eight people in the audience.
The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401,
as amended, of the City of Livonia, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making
of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a
Special Assessment Procedure", and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly
published and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance No. 101, as
amended, the City Council is opening a public hearing for the purpose of determining
the necessity of installing ornamental street lighting with underground wiring in
the area of Hearthstone Subdivision 1 and 2 and Pembrent Subdivision, in Section 1,
in the City of Livonia.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The public hearing was declared closed at 7:12 P. M., June 11, 1969.
