MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE NECESSITY OF INSTALLING STREET LIGHTS
IN GOLD MANOR SUB., GOLD MANOR SUB. #2, GOLD MANOR SUB. #3, & PART OF
BEATRICE GARDENS AND DENMAR ESTATES SUB. IN SECTION 8

On January 15, 1969, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five
Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council
at 8:20 P. M. Present--Edward H. McNamara, Peter A. Ventura, Jerry Raymond, Robert E.
McCann, Robert F. Nash, and Edward G. Milligan. Absent--Rudolf R. Kleinert.
The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401,
as amended, of the City of Livonia, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making
of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a
Special Assessment Procedure", and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly
published and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance No. 401, as
amended, the City Council is opening a public hearing for the purpose of determining
the necessity of installing ornamental street lighting with underground conductors in
1., Gold Manor Subdivision, Gold Manor Subdivision #2, Gold Manor Subdivision #3, and part
of Beatrice Gardens and Denmar Estates Subdivisions located in Section 8 in the City
of Livonia.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The public hearing was declared closed at 8:37 P. M., January 15, 1969.
