MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR THE INSTALLATION OF
SIDEWALKS ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF EIGHT MILE ROAD 1 OM MERRIMAN ROAD TO
MIDDLEBFIT ROAD IN SECTION 2

On April 2, 1969, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five
Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the
Council at 7:05 P. M. Present: Edward H. McNamara, Robert F. Nash, and Robert E.
McCann. Absent: Rudolf R. Kleinert, Peter A. Ventura, Jerry Raymond, and
Edward G. Milligan.
The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401,
as amended, of the City of Livonia, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making
of Public Improvements, defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a
Special Assessment Procedure", and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing
duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance No. 401,
as amended, the City Council is opening a public hearing for the purpose of review-
Ling the assessment roll for the proposed installation of sidewalks on the south side
of Eight Mile Road from Merriman Road to Middlebelt Road in the north 1/2 of Section 2
of the City of Livonia.
Questions and comments from an interested person were given due considera-
tion by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The public hearing was declared closed at 7:10 P. M. , April 2, 1969.
