MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON VARIOUS ZONING PETITIONS
LOn August 26, 1968, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five
Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council
at approximately 8:09 P. M. Present--Edward H. McNamara, Robert E. McCann, Robert F.
Nash, and Edward G. Milligan. Absent--Rudolf R. Kleinert, Peter A. Ventura, and
Jerry Raymond.
Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the
City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior -1,-) brie hear-
ing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other
requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled.
The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in
Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the City
Zoning Act (M.S.A. Section 5.2934), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the
Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is hold-

ing a public hearing relative to requests for changes in the Zoning Ordinance.
There were seven people in the audience.
Petition 65-12-1-40, submitted by Joseph B. Monaco, 14810 Farmington Road,
for a change of zoning in Section 22 from RUF to PS.
Petition 68-1-1-3, submitted by Edna and Jess Ziegler, 18612 Farmington Road,
for a change of zoning in Section 10 from R-1 to PS.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The public hearing was declared closed at 8:45 P. M., August 26, 1968.
