PUBLIC HEARING
October 28, 1968
Proposed Budget for the Period Beginning
December 1, 1968 to November 30, 1969

Pursuant to Section 4 and 5, Chapter VII of the Charter of the City of
Livonia, a public hearing was held on October 28, 1968, at the City Hall, 33001 Five
Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, on the proposed budget of the City of Livonia for the
year commencing December 1, 1968, and ending November 30, 1969. The public hearing
was called to order by the President of the Council at approximately 8:06 P. M.
Members present were: Edward H. McNamara, Rudolf R. Kleinert, Peter A. Ventura,
Robert E. McCann, Robert F. Nash, and Edward G. Milligan. Absent--Jerry Raymond.
The City Clerk presented to the Council satisfactory evidence that proper
notice of this public hearing had been duly published at least one week in advance of
such hearing by the City Clerk in the Livonia Observer, the official newspaper, and
L that there had been full compliance with the provisions of the City Charter.
There were eight people in the audience.
Due consideration was given by the Council to comments on the proposed
budget, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The President declared the public hearing closed at approximately 8:37 P. M.,
October 28, 1968.
