HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1968-01-29 NECESSITY SECTION 17 9253 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY RELATIVE TO INSTALLING STREET LIGHTS IN SECTION 17 On January 29, 1968, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at approximately 8:03 P. M. Present--Peter A. Ventura, Rudolf R. Kleinert, and Jerry Raymond. Absent--Edward H. McNamara, Robert F. Nash, Jack Salvadore, and Edward G. Milligan. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401, as amended, of the City of Livonia, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure", and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with said Ordinance No. 401, as amended, the City Council was opening a public hearing for the purpose of determining the necessity of installing ornamental street lighting with underground wiring in Judson Gardens Subdivision No. 3, Renwick Park Subdivision No. 2, part of Kingsbury Heights Subdivision No. 3, and Bureau of Taxation Parcels 17F1, F2a, and 17F2b, in Section 17, City of Livonia. There was no one in the audience interested in the above matter. There being no comments, the public hearing was declared closed at 8:05 P. M., January 29, 1968. ADDISON W. BACON"err� y Clerk
