PUBLIC HEARING ON ZONING PETITION NO. 67-6-6-3
LOn October 2, 1967, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five
Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council
at approximately 8:10 P. M. Present--Peter A. Ventura, Rudolf R. Kleinert, Jerry
Raymond, Robert F. Nash, Jack Salvadore, and Edward G. Milligan. Absent--Edward H.
McNamara.
Pursuant to Section 23.06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the
City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the hear-
ing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed change and all other
requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled.
The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in
Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the City
Zoning Act (M.S.A. Section 5.293)4), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the
LZoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia is hold-
ing a public hearing relative to a request for a zoning change within the City.
Petition 67-6-6-3, as submitted by the City Planning Commission on its own
motion to amend Section 5.02 and 5.03 of Article V of the Zoning Ordinance, by placing
dog kennels into the Waiver Use section of the RUF zoning category and by increasing
the area requirements for raising anima-15.
There were approximately ten people in the audience.
Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by
the Council, a transcript of which is recorded in the Office of the City Clerk.
The public hearing was declared closed at 9:11 P. M., October 2, 1967.
