MINUTFS OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY RELATIVE TO INSTALLING
STREET LIGHTS IN TIFFANY PARK SUBDIVISION NO. 3 IN SECTION 19
On April 5, 1967, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five
Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council
at approximately 9:05 P. M. Present--Peter A. Ventura, Rudolf R. Kleinert, Edward H.
McNamara and Robert F. Nash. Absent--Jerry Raymond, Jack Salvadore, and Edward G.
Milligan.
The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 401,
as amended, of the City of Livonia, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making
of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a
Special Assessment Procedure", and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing
duly published and sent to the property owner in accordance with said Ordinance No. 401,
as amended, the City Council was opening a public hearing for the purpose of deter-
mining the necessity for the installation of street lights in Tiffany Park Subdivision
No. 3 in Section 19 in the City of Livonia.
There was one person in the audience, Mr. Robert Brown, President of Castle
Gardens Civic Association, and he objected to the proposed street lights, a transcript
of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
There being no further comments, the public hearing was declared closed at
9:10 P. M., April 5, 1967.
