MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON VARIOUS ZONING P1 IT IONS
On February 28, 1966, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001
Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the
Council at approximately 7:50 P. M. Present--Rudolf R. Kleinert, Edward H. McNamara,
and Edward G. Milligan. Absent--John F. Dooley, James R. McCann, Peter A. Ventura,
and Charles J. Pinto
Pursuant to Section 23 06 of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, the
City Clerk has duly published and mailed notices fifteen (15) days prior to the
hearing date to those persons in the area affected by the proposed changes and all
other requirements of Ordinance No. 543, the Zoning Ordinance, have been fulfilled.
The President stated that in accordance with the provisions set forth in
Section 4 of Act 207 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1921, as amended, the City
Zoning Act. (M.S.A Section 5.2934), as well as Article XXIII of Ordinance 543, the
Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, the Council of the City of Livonia held
a public hearing relative to requests for various changes of zoning within the City.
Petition No. 65-8-1-28, for change of zoning in Section 28 from R-5 to M-1,
submitted by Herbert Draper, 12050 Stark, Livonia, Michigan, and George Jarman,
13961 Hubbard, Livonia, Michigan
There were no comments regarding this petition.
Petition No. 65-11-1-39, for change of zoning in Section 11 from R-1 to P-S,
submitted by Milton M. Shiffman, M. D., 15130 Sutherland, Oak Park, Michigan.
There were no comments regarding this petition.
There being no comments, the Public Hearing was declared closed at approxi-
mately 8:00 P. M., February 28, 1966.
