HomeMy WebLinkAboutPUBLIC HEARING 1963-11-04 NECESSITY HARRISON AVE Page 6302 MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY OF PAVING ON HARRISON AVENUE On November 11., 1963, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of the Council at approximately 8:11 P. M. Present-- Sydney B. Bagnall, William E. Parks, John T. Daugherty, Rudolf R. Kleinert, John F. Dooley and Edward H. McNamara. Absent-- James R. McCann. The President stated that pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 1. 01, as amended, of the City of Livonia, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment Procedure," and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with Section 3.04 of said Ordinance No. 11.01, the City Council was opening a Public Hearing for the purpose of determining the necessity of installing paving on Harrison Avenue for a distance of 300 feet north of Joy Road in the Southwest 1/11. of Section 36 in the City of Livonia. Questions and comments from interested persons were given due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk. There being no ftrther comments, the Public Hearing was declared closed at approximately 8:16 P. M., November 1.1., 1963. vim ' ar - W. Clark, City Clerk
