Proposed Budget for the Period Beginning
December 1, 1;63, to November 30, 196
Pursuant to Secticns Li. and 5, Chapter VIII of the Charter of the City
of Livonia, a Public Hearing was held on November 18, 1963, at the City Hall,
33001 Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, on the proposed budget of the City of
Livonia for the year commencing December 1, 1963, and ending November 30, 1964.
The public hearing was called to order by the President of the Council at ap-
proximately 8:09 P. M. Members present were: Sydney B. Bagnall, John T.Daugherty,
Rudolf R. Kleinert, Edward H.McNamara and James R. McCann. Absent: John F. Dooley
and William E. Parks.
The City Clerk presented to the Council satisfactory evidence that proper
notice of this public hearing has been duly published at least one week in advance
of such hearing by the City Clerk in The Livonian, the official newspaper, and
the Detroit Free Press, and that there has been full compliance with the provisions
of the City Cha rte r.
Due consideration was given by the Council to questions and comments
on the proposed budget.
The President declared the public hearing closed at approximately 8:30 P. M.,
November 18, 1963.
