MINUTr OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY OF INSTALLING
STREET LIGHTS IN ANN ARBOR TRAILS UBDIVISIONS 1 AND 2
AND GAWRON SUBDIVISION
On January 10, 1962, the above meeting was held at the City Hall, 33001
Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by Councilman Rudolf R.
Kleinert, who acted as Chairman, at approximately 8:05 P. M. Present-- Rudolf R.
Kleinert, William N.Ponder, Austin T. Grant and *Sydney B. Bagnall.
Absent-- John T. Daugherty, Jack Salvadore and James R. McCann.
The Chairman stated that, pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 31,
as amended, of the City of Livonia entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making
of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a
Special Assessment Procedure," and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing
duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with Section 12 of said
Ordinance No. 31, as amended, the City Council was opening a Public Hearing for the
purpose of determining the necessity of installing street lighting in Ann Arbor
Trail Subdivision, Ann Arbor Trail Subdivision No. 2 and Gawron Subdivision, in
the Northwest 1/4 of Section 31 in the City of Livonia.
*Councilman Sydney B. Bagnall arrived at 8:20 P. M. Chairman Kleinert
relinquished the chair to the President of the Council at 8:35 P. M., and was
excused.
Questions, comments and communications by interested persons were given
due consideration by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office
of the City Clerk.
There being no further comments, the Public Hearing was declared closed
at approximately 8:)4 P. M., January 10, 1962.
