PUBLIC HEARING

Proposed Budget for the Period Beginning
December 1, 1961, to November 30, 1962
Pursuant to Sections 4 and 5, Chapter VIII of the Charter of the City of
Livonia, a Public Hearing was held on Novemoer 6, 1961, at the City Hall, 33001 Five
Mile Road, Livonia, on the proposed budget of the City of Livonia for the year com-
mencing December 1, 1961, and ending November 30, 1962. The public hearing was
opened at approximately 8:35 P. M., by the President of the Council. Members present
were: Sydney B. Bagnall, John T.Daugherty, William N. Ponder, Rudolf R. Kleinert,
Austin T. Grant, Jack Salvadore and James R. McCann. Absent-- None.
The City Clerk presented to the Council satisfactory evidence that proper
notice of this public hearing had been duly published at least one week in advance
of such hearing by the City Clerk in The Livonia City-Past, the official newspaper,
and that there had been full compliance with the provisions of the City Charter.
Due consideration was given by the Council to questions and comments
on the proposed budget.
