MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON NECESSITY OF INSTALLING
STAT LIGHTS IN LIVONIA GARDENS SUBDIVISION
On April 28, 1960, the above hearing was held at the City Hall, 33001
Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan, and was called to order by the President of
the Council at approximately 8:00 o'clock P.M. Present-- Robert Sasser, John T.
Daugherty, Sydney B. Bagnall, Rudolf R. Kleinert, Austin T. Grant, Jack Salvadore
and James R. McCann.
The President s tate d that, pursuant to the pr avis ions of Ordin anc e No.
31, as amended, of the City of Livonia entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the
Making of Public Improvements, Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment
and a Special Assessment Procedure," and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public
Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with Section 12
of said Ordinance No. 31, as amended, the City Council was opening a Public nearing
for the purpose of determining the necessity of installing electric street lighting
in Livoli a Gardens Subdivision, in Section 22 of the City of Livonia.
Questions and comments by interested persons were given due consideration
by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
Marie W.Clark, City Clerk, presented to the Council letters from
interested persons regarding the proposed improvement.
There being no further comments, the public hearing was declared closed
at approximately 8:50 P. M., April 28, 1960.
