MINUTES OF THE PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE PURPOSE OF
DETERMINING THE NECESSITY OF PAVING OF DtERING
AVENUE FROM PLYMOUTH ROAD TO WEST CHICAGO ROAD
IN SECTION 36, CITY OF LIVONIA
The Public Hearing for the purpose of determining whether or not to install
paving on Deering Avenue from Plymouth Road to West Chicago Road in Section 36 of the
City of Livonia, was called to order by the President of the Council at 8:15 P. M.,
April 30, 1957, at the City hall, 33001 Five Mile Road. The following members of the
Council were present: Austin T. Grant, Frank O'Neill, Sydney B. Bagnall and Peter A.
Ventura. Absent: Rudolf R. Kleinert, John T. Daugherty and David L. Jones.
The President stated that, pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No. 31,
as amended, entitled "An Ordinance to Provide for the Making of Public Improvement
Defraying the Expense Thereof by Special Assessment and a Special Assessment procedure,"
and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public Hearing duly published and sent to property
owners in accordance with said Ordinance, the Public Hearing was declared open for
comments.
Statements by interested parties present were heard and given due consider-
ation by the Council, a transcript of which is on file in the office of the City Clerk.
The President declared the Public Hearing duly adjourned at 9:25 P. M.,
April 30, 1957.
