MINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING ON ASSESSMENT ROLL
SPECIAL ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 9, DEERING AND ELMIRA PAVING
On July 18, 1957, the above hearing was called to order at approximately
8:02 P. M., by the President of the Council. Present: Austin T. Grant, Frank
Mein, Sydney B. Bagnall, David L. Jones, Peter A. Ventura and John T. Daugherty,
Absent: Rudolf R. Kleiner t.
The President stated that, pursuant to the provisions of Ordinance No.
31, of the City of Livonia, as amended, and likewise pursuant to a Notice of Public
Hearing duly published and sent to property owners in accordance with Section 12
of Ordinance No. 31, as am emded, the City Council was opening a Public Hearing
for the purpose of reviewing the Special Assessment Roll on the paving of Deering
and Elmira Streets.
Questions and comments made by residents were given due consideration by
the Council, which questions and comments appear in a transcript of this meeting
on file in the office of Marie W. Clark, City Clerk. A letter from Mendota Building
Company dated July 18, 1957, was read and paced on file.
There being no further discussion, the President declared the Public
Hearing far the purpose of considering the Assessment Roll for the paving of
Deering and Elmira Streets closed at 9:2L P. M., July 18, 1957.
