MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE BOARD OF
CANVASSERS OF THE CITY OF LIVONIA
IL
Pursuant to Section 12 of Chapter III of the Charter, the members of the
City Council of the City of Li onia met as the Board of Canvassers of such City on
Thursday, April 8, 1954, at approximately 8:10 P. M , at the City Hall, 33001
Five Mile Road, Livonia, Michigan The meeting was called to order at the above
tine and place by the Vice President of the Council, Wilson W Edgar, who acted as
Chairman of the Board The City Clerk read to the board the apntents of certified
statements of the returns of each precinct, as prepared and certified by the election
inspectors of each pre cinct and as filed in her office and the se returns were publicly
examined and canvassed by the board, and were approved

regular city election held on April 5, 1954•

Vice President Edgar declared the foregoing resolution adopted and directed
that certified copies of the same be prepared and signed by each member of the Board.
By Councilman Carey, seconded by Councilman Whitehead and unanimously
adopted, it was

WE DO HEREBY CERTIFY, that the foregoing is a correct statement
of the votes given in the City of Livonia, Wayne County, Regular Election
held in said City, on Monday, the Fifth day of April, in the year 1954,
far the election of card idates for the office of Mayo r, City Clerk,
Treasurer, Members of the Council, Justice of the Peace and Constables
of said City.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, We, the undersigned members of the Board
