Motion 7-28-1 was made by P Valentine and seconded by J Valentine to approve the m�nutes of the
meeting held on June 15, 2015 Approved

Swish — The Commission has spent a total of$12,474 for Concerts and Scholarships A balance of
$3,77� �s left �n their general fund account. Copy of report emailed to Commissioners Mo#ion 7•28-2
appraved and filed
Gallery/City Hall
Karczewski- Gallery—July is hosting the Livonia Art�st Glub's final showing Michael Coppa is
appearing in August,
J/P Valentine- City Hall - July will host Jerry Valentine, Livonia Arts Commissioner porothy
Amberger will display in the labby in August.
Fine Arts Exhibition
Karczewski —A copy of the schedule of completed tasks for the Fine Arts Exhib�tion in October was
pravided to the Cammissioners Karczewski has asked the Commiss�oners to sign up for unassigned
tasks and return to her.

Duggan — advised that the following businesses have contributed free refreshments to the concert
audience J�mmy Jahns, Dunia Sweets, Showermans, and #he Bench Pub Good weather has drawn
crowds between 40p to 600 people

Environmenta! Sculpture Eno reported that the 16t" District Court probationers are not able to
assist with the work needed on the rusty railings It has been determmed the railings wi11 need to be
sandblasted not merely wire brushed C?ngo4ng investigation �s needed for a sand blaster, an
operator and cost.
LSO —was held at the Livonia Rec Center an June 18th 500 people attended this free concert
sponsored by the Arts Commission and Parks and Rec

New Business
Handicapped Parking at the MFTH Concerts —The city is investigating the issues and logistics of
provid�ng additional temporary handicap parking
Festival of Colors and Wine Tasting Event— Further discussion needed
