OF THE LIVONIA TRAFFIC COMMISSION
The 642nd Regular meeting of the Livonia Traffic Commission was held in the
third floor conference room at City Hall on Thursday, January 8, 2009 and called
to order by Chairman Joe Steele.
PRESENT: Commissioners Gordon Draper, Jim Policelli, Gordon Sl. John,
Cindi Quinn -Venture and Sergeant David Studt Also in attendance: Andrea
Kolhoff, 9903 Flamingo.
The minutes of the meeting of December 11, 2008, which were taken by Mr.
Policelli, were reviewed. The commission thanked Mr. Policelli for his efforts in
recording the minutes. An excellenljob... well done!
Upon a motion by Mr. Draper, seconded by Mr. Sl. John, and approved, it was
09-01 RESOLVED, That the commission minutes for December 112008 be
approved as presented.
The commission reviewed the request from Andrea Kolhoff, President of Devon
Aire Civic Association, and Ms. Kolhoff addressed the reasons for this request for
NO PARKING signs..
Upon a motion by Mr. Policelli, seconded by Mr. Sl. John, and approved, it was
09-02 RESOLVED, That the commission approves the installation of NO
PARKING signs in front of 30445 Elmira.
The commission reviewed the requeslfrom Andrea Kolhoff for NO PARKING
signs on the west side of Milburn from Plymouth Rd. south to Elmira. After
further discussion with Ms. Kolhoff, the commission decided to take no further
action on this matter
The commission discussed the area of Schoolcraft and Farmington Rd and made
the following resolution.
Upon a motion by Mrs. Quinn -Ventura, seconded by Mr. Draper, and approved, it
was
09-03 RESOLVED, That the commission will request the Police Department to
do a TCO to remove the two lane usage signs on westbound Schoolcraft east of
Farmington Rd in the left lane and remove the merge right at westbound
Schoolcraft.

Upon a motion by Mr. Sl. John, seconded by Ms. Quinn -Ventura, and
unanimously adopted, it was
RESOLVED, That the meeting be adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
