OF THE LIVONIA TRAFFIC COMMISSION
The 64991 Regular moetirg of the Livonia Traffic Commission was held in the third Floor
conference mom at City Hall on Thursday August 13, 2009 and calletl to order by Chairman Joe
Steele_
PRESENT_ Commissioners Gordon Draper, Jim Pulicelli, Kevin Priddy, John Katers, Cindi
QuinnVentura and Officer Joe Hours
The minutes of the meeting of July 9, 2009 were reviewed
Upon a motion by Mr Draper, seconded by Mr Katers, and approved, d was
09416 RESOLVED, That the commission minutes for July 9, 2009 be approved as
presented
The commission reviewed the request to charge the STOP sign to a YIELD for the south Six Mile
service drive at Westbrook_
Upon a motion by Mrs_ Quinn Ventura, seconded by Mr Pulmelli, and approved, d was
09417 RESOLVED, That the commission approves the request to change the STOP sign
to a YIELD for the sou9N Six Mile service drive at Westbrook_
The commission reviewed the request received tram the Police Department for removal of double
right tum lanes for westbound Schoolcraft at Farm irgton_
Upon a motion by Mr Katers, seconded! by Mrs. Quinn -Ventura, and approved, it was
09419 RESOLVED, That the commission postpones the request for removal of double
right turn lanes for westbound Schoolcraft at Farmglon until the September meeting so
that it can mview the traffic study.

Upon a motion by Mr Katers, seconded by Mrs_ Quinn Ventura, and approved, it was
99419 RESOLVED, That the commission postpones the request for removal of double
right turn lanes for westbound Schook:mft at Middlebek until the September meeting so
that it can mview the traffic study
The commission reviewed the request received from the Police Department for removal of NO
PARKING signs on Schook:mft.
Upon a motion by Mr Pulmelli, seconded! by Mrs_ Quino-Ventura, and approved, it was
W419 RESOLVED, That the commission approves the removal of NO PARKING signs
on Schoolcraft tram Inkster Rd to Newburgh Rd_

The commission reviewed the Police Deparknents request to install a NO OUTLET sign on
eastbound Bennett at Edgewood.
Upon a mofion by Mr_ DmWr, seconded by Mr_ Katers, and approved, it was

sign on eastbound Benneft at Edgewoo !

Change STOP sign to the school crosswalk assembly (Si -1 with supplemental
W16 -]p( for Lyndon at Hubbard.
Remove stop bars for Lyndon at Hubbard.

Change STOP sign to the school crosswalk assembly (Si -1 with supplemental
W16 -]p( for Lyndon at Henry Ruff.
Remove stop bars for Lyndon at Henry Ruff.

Remove STOP for Arthur at Oangelawn.
Change STOP to YIELD for Orangelewn at Arthur,

Remove STOP for Arthur at Richland.
Change STOP to YIELD for Richland at Arthur, atltl supplemental CROSS TRAFFIC
DOES NOT STOP.

Upon a motion by Mr Priddy, seconded by Mrs. Quin,Ventura, and approved, it was
RESOLVED, that the meeting be adjourned at 800 p m.
