The three visitors upending the meeting.- Tammy and Bob Hassan and Dave Hudson, express
concern with the volume and speed of vehicle traffic throughout their neighborhood (section 31)
during select hours (69 am and 36 pm) on weekdays. All three state that vehides, perhaps
from a local apartment complex, use various neighborhood streets particularly Houghton to avoid
traffic control devices on Hix Road between Ann Arbor and Joy roads. While these vehicles seek
a short cuf they speed on these roads creating traffic hazards and unsafe conditions for the
resitlences in the subdivision. After a detailed discussion of street mad usage, it was agreed that
the police would monitor and enforce all violations (speed and sign enforcement). Additionally,
when weather conditions permit, the traffic speed sign and capturing control computer would be
used to obtain detailed information to allow for a more accurate analysis_ Permission was
obtained for the police to use these residence driveways to allow for traffic monitoring—
communication will continue with the police and these residences. This topic will remain an
OPEN ISSUE until detailetl information is obtained

Meffiman and Puritan Roads. Preliminary analysis indicates that the traffic signal timing may be
causing driver'rearcnd' minor vehide acokdents additionally; the actual placement of the signal
