LIVONIA TRAFFIC COMMISSION
The 672nd Regular meeting of the Livonia Traffic Commission held in the third floor conference
room at City Hall on Thursday, November 10, 2011, was called to order by Chairman Joe Steele.
PRESENT: Commissioners: Gordon Draper, John Eaters, Kevin Priddy, Gordon St John, Jim
Policelh, along with Police Officer: Sergeant John Gibbs and City Engineer: Todd Zihncik
attending.
VISITORS ATTENDING: Paola Vespa, 14661 Melvin, Livonia (Section 23)
The minutes of the October 13, 2011, meeting was reviewed.
Upon a motion by John Eaters, seconded by Kevin Priddy, it was approved by unanimous vote
that:
11-72 RESOLVED the commission minutes from October 13, 2011, are approved as
presented.
Paola V espa was requesting an update on the issue on Melvin Street (11-66, September 8
meeting) - Todd assured her that the unique situation that exists on this street would be resolved.
Agenda Item 2: An unsigned, anonymous vote was received requesting signs on north & south-
bound Newburgh Road informing drivers of the upcoming I-96 intersection. An open discussion
regarding the merits of this request concluded with no further action being taken at this time.
Upon a motion by Gordon Draper, seconded by Kevin Priddy, it was unanimous vote that:
11-73 RESOLVED that Chairman Joe Steele sign and approve Traffic Control
Orders (TCO) 1107,1108 and 1109.
Upon a motion by Gordon Draper, seconded by Gordon St. John, it was approved by unanimous
vote that:
RESOLVED, that the meeting he adjourned at 7:55 pm.
