CONSENT AGENDA
1. REQUEST FOR DESIGNATION AS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION: Dennis
DeSantis, Livonia Civic Arenas, Inc., re: as required by the State of Michigan to
qualify for a charitable gaming permit to allow fundraisers in the future.
2. APPOINTMENT OF PETER VENTURA TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION:
Office of the Mayor, to fill the unexpired term of Scott Bahr, which will expire on
June 9, 2017.
3. REQUEST TO ACCEPT QUOTATION FOR LIFE INSURANCE AND ACCIDENTAL
DEATH AND DISMEMBERMENT INSURANCE: Department of Finance, re: from
Reliance Standard Life Insurance for the period of March 1, 2016 to February 28,
2018, which is unchanged from the current rate.
4. AWARD OF CONTRACT: Public Service Division, re: for the 2016 Street Tree
Planting Program from funds budgeted for this purpose.
5. AWARD OF CONTRACT: Public Service Division, re: for the 2016 Tree and Stump
Removal Program from funds budgeted for this purpose.

6. REQUEST TO WAIVE THE CITY’S COMPETITIVE BID PROCESS AND TO
AWARD BID RECEIVED THROUGH THE TRI-COUNTY PUBLIC PURCHASING
COOPERATIVE: Public Service Division, re: for gasoline and diesel fuel for the
period February 1, 2016 through January 31, 2018.
7. REQUEST TO ACCEPT STORM WATER FACILITIES MAINTENANCE
AGREEMENT: Engineering Division, re: from the owners, Tobeck Realty
Corporation, Maxlune Realty Corporation and the Antonoff Family Trust Parternship
LLP, in conjunction with the development of property located on the west side of
Middlebelt Road (13507 Middlebelt Road), south of Schoolcraft Road, in the
Southeast 1/4 of Section 26.

8. ROLL CALL: Proposed Amendment to Zoning Ordinance No. 543, as amended:
Department of Law, re: Petition 2015-09-01-09, submitted by 15983 Middlebelt
L.L.C., to rezone property located on the west side of Middlebelt between Five Mile
Road and Puritan Avenue (15983 Middlebelt Road), in the Southeast 1/4 of
Section 14, from OS (Office Services) to C-1 (Local Business).
First Reading given by Councilmember White on January 20, 2016.
9. ROLL CALL: Proposed Amendment to Zoning Ordinance No. 543, as amended::
Department of Law, re: Petition 2015-11-01-10, submitted by McLaren
Performance Technologies, to rezone a portion of the property located on the
south side of Eight Mile Road between Parker Avenue and Hubbard Road (32233
Eight Mile Road), in the Northeast 1/4 of Section 3, from R-3 (One Family
Residential) to P (Parking), without any conditions.
First Reading by Councilmember Meakin on January 20, 2016.
10. REQUEST FOR GAS FRANCHISE RENEWAL: Greg Meyer, Consumers Energy,
re: granting the right, power and authority to lay, maintain and operate gas mains,
pipes and services on, along, across and under the highways, streets, alleys,
bridges, waterways, and other public places, and to do a local gas business in the
City of Livonia, Wayne County, Michigan, for a period of thirty years.
11. REQUEST TO AMEND ENGINEERING CONTRACT AND REQUEST
ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION AND EXPENDITURE: Engineering Division,
re: for the Stormwater, Asset Management, and Wastewater (SAW) Grant Program,
Wastewater Asset Management Plan Saw Grant Project No. 1441-01, to complete
the grant by the April 2017 deadline.. (CR 338-14)

UNFINISHED BUSINESS
12. SITE PLAN PETITION: Planning Commission, re: Petition 2015-10-08-17,
submitted by Jonna Realty Ventures, on behalf of Haggerty Marketplace, to
construct a multi-tenant retail building and obtain preliminary approval for two
restaurant pads on property located on the east side of Haggerty Road between
Seven Mile and Eight Mile Roads (19700 and 19750 Haggerty Road) in the
Southwest 1/4 of Section 6.
NEW BUSINESS
13. ACCEPTANCE OF DONATIONS: Livonia Fire and Rescue, re: of cash and gifts
from various contributors to be used for the purposes, as designated by the donors.
14. ACCEPTANCE OF EASEMENT: Department Law, re: secured without monetary
consideration, from Michael and Susan Wivell, in connection with the storm sewer
line constructed at 11121 Garden for a variable width public utility easement in the
Northwest 1/4 of Section 36.
