MINUTES OF THE FIFTH REGULAR MEETING
OF THE PLAITNING COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF LIVONIA
The fifth regular meeting of the Planning Commission of
the City of Livonia was held on the 27th day of September,
1950, at the City Hall, 33110 Five I'-ile Road, Livonia, Michi-
gan.
The meeting was called to order at approximately 8:00 P.M.
by the Chairman, Mr. George Bentley. Roll was called with the
following result:
Members present: Harold Rower Dallas Hay
Valter Russell Edwin Conway
Robert MacIntyre George Bentley
Clarence Jahn Helen Byers
Members absent: Carson Johnston
Mr. F. C. Standiford and Yr.. John Hurley, attorney,
appeared at the meeting to discuss that property Mr. Standi-
ford owns which is being tentatively considered as part of
the proposed Civic Center.
After a thorough discussion, it was finally decided that
Yr. Standiford meet withis r. Waring again this coming week to
go further into the Planning Commission 's Plans and appear at
the next meeting to be held October 4th.
Upon a motion duly made by Robert Maclntyre, seconded by
Clarence Jahn, and unanimously carried, it was
RESOLVED, to hold a special meeting on the
4th day of October at 8:00 P.M. , in order
that a more thorough discussion may be had
with Mr. Standiford as to terms, etc. on
his Property.
Upon a motion duly made by Harold Tower, seconded by
Edwin Conway, and unanimously carried, it was
RESOLVED, to instruct the Secretary not to
read the minutes of the last two meetings
of the Commission.
The Secretary presented the duplicate statements from
?`raring & Johnson. After a thorough discussionand checking of
all charges, a motion was duly made by Harold Bower, seconded
by Edwin Conway, unanimously carried, and it was

RESOLVED, that the Chairman approve the
current statement for payment and turn
it over to the City Clerk for presenta-
tion to the Council for immediate pay-
ment.
Edwin Conway Presented the tentative iJevT1an Subdivision
Plan. Upon a motion duly made bydwin Conway, seconded by
Robert ??a.cIntyre, and unanimously carried, it Was
RESOLVED, that the tentative Newman
Subdivision Plan be tabled until a
future meeting.
The Secretary ;ave Edwin Conway a copy of the tentative
Subdivision Ordinance.
Upona motion duly made by Clarence Jahn, seconded by
Dallas Hay, and unanimously carried, it was
RESOLVED, to adjourn this meeting
until the 4th day of October, 1950.
The meeting thereupon adjourned at approximately 9:25 P.M.
