HomeMy WebLinkAboutPLANNING MINUTES 1957-09-10 257 1801 MINUTES OF THE 73RD SPECIAL MEETING OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LIVONIA On September 10, 1957 the above hearing was held by the City Planning Commission of the City of Livonia at the City Hall, 33001,Five Mile Road Livonia, Michigan. Chairman William R. obinson called the 73rd Special Meeting to order at approximately 8:00 p m. Members present: Robert L. Greene C arles Walker H. Paul Harsha Fred A. Lotz L onard Kane William R. Robinson Wilfred Okerstrom Robert L. Miller Members absent: Karle Steinhoff Upon a motion duly made by Mr. Kane, seconded by Mr. Okerstrom and unanimously carried, it was #9-261-57 RESOLVED that, pursuant to a Public Hearing having been held on September 3, 1957, the City Planning Commission does here- by grant Application TA28 as submitted by Harold E. Edwards requesting permission to remove topsoil and sand located on a portion of Parcels 16A, 16Bla and 16C situated on the West side of Farmington Road between Six Mile Road and Oakdale Avenue in the North 1/2 of Section 16 subject to recommendations from various departments, and FURTHER RESOLVED, that a performance bond be fixed on the above application at $500 per acre and it is recommended that the Bureau of Inspection issue a permit to this effect, and FURTHER RESOLVED, notice of the above hearing was sent to propertyowners within 500 feet, petitioner, City Departments as listed in the Proof of Service and recommendation having been obtained from the Department of Public Works under date of September 10, 1957 and from the Police Department under date of July 31, 1957. The Chariman declared the foregoing resolution adopted. Upon a motion duly made by Mr. Kane, seconded by Mr. Walker and unanimously carried, it was #9-262-57 RESOLVED that, pursuant to a Public Hearing having been held on September 3, 1957, the City Planning Commission does hereby grant Application TA29 as submitted by Theodore Crantz requesting permission to remove approximately 46 acres of topsoil located on a portion of Parcel 05B situated on the Southeast corner- of Eight Mile and Newburg Roads in the Northwest .i4- of Section 5 subject to recommendations from various departments, and FURTHER RESOLVED, that a performance bond be fixed on the above application at $500 per acre and it is recommended that the Bureau of Inspection issue a permit to this • effect, and 268 . 1802 C7 FURTHER RESOLVED, notice of the above hearing was sent to property owners within 500 feet, petitioner, City Depart- ments as listed in the Proof of Service and recommendations having been obtained from the Department of Public Works and the Police Department under date of September 10, 1957. The Chariman declared the foregoing resolution adopted. On a motion duly made, seconded and unanimously adopted this 73rd Special Meeting was duly adjourned at approximately $:30 p.m., September 10, 1957. i • Ro.ert L.
