MINUTES OF THE 231st SPECIAL MEETING
OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF LIVONIA
On Tuesday, January 31st, 1967, the City Planning Commission of the
City of Livonia held its 231st Special Meeting at the office of the
City Planning Department, 13325 Farmington Road, Livonia, Michigan.
Mr. Charles W. Walker, Chairman, called the meeting to order at 12:00
midnight.
Members Present: Charles W. Walker Marvin Moser Mrs. Mimi Singer
Harry Wrightman Raymond W. Tent
John J. Ward Donald C. tolleck
Members Absent: Mrs. Myra Chandler Donald E. Heusted
Mr. Don Hull, Planning Director was also present.
Mr. Walker announced that the first item on the agenda is final approval
of Judson Gardens Subdivision
Motion by H. Wrightman seconded by M. Moser
#1-15-67 RESOLVED that, the City Planning Commission does hereby
recommend to the City Council that the final plat of
Judson Gardens Subdivision, formerly a portion of Philip
Judson Gardens Subdivision, located in the North 1/2 of
Section 17, be given final approval for the following
reason:
(1) it is consistent with the previously approved
preliminary plat;
(2) all the financial obligations of the city have been
met;
FURTHER RESOLVED, inasmuch as it appears on the records that
tentative approval of said proposed plat was given by the
City Planning Commission under Resolution #11-169a-66 adopted
on November 1, 1966; and it further appearing that said
proposed plat together with plans and specifications for
improvements therein have been approved by the Department of
Public Works, Engineering Division, under date of December 14,
1966; and it further appearing that financial assurances for
installation of improvements in said subdivision have been
filed in the office of Addison W. Bacon, City Clerk, pursuant
to his letter dated January 31, 1967; it would therefore
appear that all the conditions necessary to release of building
permits have been met and the Building Department is hereby
seg notified.

Mr. Walker declared the motion carried and the resolution adopted.
Mr. Walker announced that the next item on the agenda is final
approval of Renwick Park Subdivision
On Motion by Mr. Pollock, seconded by Mr. Tent the following resolution
was unanimously adopted:
#1-16-67 RESOLVED that, the City Planning Commission does hereby
recommend to the City Council that the final plat of
Renwick Park Subdivision located in the North 1/2 of Section
17 be given final approval for the following reason:
(1) it is consistent with the previously approved
preliminary plat;
(2) all the financial obligations of the City have been met
FURTHER RESOLVED, `inasmuch as it appears on the records that
tentative approval of said proposed plat was given by the
City Planning Commission under Resolution #11-196b-66
adopted November 1, 1966, and it further appearing that
said proposed plat together with plans and specifications
for improvements ther .n have been approved by the Department
of Public Works, Engineering Division, under date of December 14,
1966; and it further appearing that financial assurances for
the installation of improvements in said subdivision have been
filed in the office of Addison W. Bacon, City Clerk, pursuant
to his letter dated January 31, 1967; it would therefore appear

On motion by Mr. Wrightman, seconded by Mr. Moser, and unanimously
adopted, the City Planning Commission adjourned its 231st Special
Meeting held ;January 31, 1967 at approximately! 12:10 A.M.
