1. REQUEST TO UPDATE CITY COUNCIL FROM THE SENIOR ALLIANCE:
Jennifer Trussell, Administrative Assistant, The Senior Alliance, re. Jason
Maciejewski, Chief Planning & Information Officer, on their programs.
2. REQUEST TO BARRICADE CITY STREETS: Cindy Walker, Vice President
Human Resources, Valassis, Inc., re: 5K Charity Run to be held on Saturday,
October 8, 2016 from 7 AM to 10:30 AM on Victor Parkway between Seven and
Eight Mile Roads and Pembroke off of Newburgh, no rain date scheduled.
3. REQUEST TO WAIVE THE CITY'S NOISE ORDINANCE AND TO ERECT SIGNS
AT REFERENCED LOCATIONS: Fred E. Sackllah, Festival Chair Person, The
Basilica of St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church, re: in connection with their 8th
Annual Michigan Fun Fest to be held from Thursday, June 9, 2016 through
Sunday, June 12, 2016, at Bryant Park, 18000 Merriman Road.

4. REQUEST TO WAIVE SIDEWALK REQUIREMENT: Mike Adams, re: for the
newly constructed home at 19833 Merriman Court.
5. VACATING AND REPLACEMENT REQUEST: Stephen M. Conley, Manger,
Grand River Charter Development, LTD, re: of a storm water utility easement,
which runs through the middle of the property located at 28153 Eight Mile Road
for the purpose of allowing the approved development to proceed.

6. APPOINTMENT OF SAM CARAMAGNO TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION:
Office of the Mayor, to fill the unexpired term of Lee Morrow, which will expire on
June 9, 2017.
7. REQUEST FOR APPROVAL OF THE 2016-2021 CONSOLIDATED PLAN: 2016-
2017 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM (CDBG)
ANNUAL PLAN AND BUDGET; AND REQUEST TO APPROVE HOLD
HARMLESS CONTRACTS BETWEEN THE CITY OF LIVONIA AND FIRST
STEP; FAIR HOUSING CENTER OF METROPOLITAN DETROIT;
STONEBROOK COUNSELING ASSOCIATES, PLLC; CRUZ CLINIC; HEGIRA
PROGRAMS, INC.; WAYNE METROPOLITAN COMMUNITY ACTION AGENCY;
AND ST. JOHN HEALTH SYSTEM/EASTWOOD CLINICS: Livonia Housing
Commission, re: in connection with the operation of a domestic violence victim
assistance program; for the purpose of providing fair housing; and for the mental
health counseling program provided for through the Community Development
Block Grant (CDBG) programs for the 2016-2017 program year.
8. AWARD OF BID: Department of Parks and Recreation, re: to remarcite and open
the Botsford Pool and to marcite repair and open the Sheldon Pool, from budgeted
funds.
9. REQUEST FOR APPROVAL TO PURCHASE SERVER AND SOFTWARE
UPGRADE FOR OFFENDERTRAK JAIL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM WITHOUT
COMPETITIVE BIDDING PROCESS: Division of Police, re: to purchase an
upgrade from sole source provider Motorola, from budgeted funds.
10. REQUEST FOR AUTHORIZATION TO PURCHASE ONE (1) MARKED POLICE
VEHICLE UTILIZING THE STATE OF MICHIGAN AND THE COUNTIES OF
OAKLAND AND MACOMB CONSORTIUM BID PRICING: Division of Police, re.
to be used by the Uniform Division, from insurance carrier reimbursement.

MEETINGS OF THE COMMITTEE
11. COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE — Meeting of April 11, 2016
Petition 2015-12-02-26 submitted by Livonia Corp. Tower, L.L.C., to develop a
Planned General Development, including renovations to the site and building to
accommodate offices and other commercial services on the first floor of the
building and a total of 112 apartment units on floors 2 thru 8, located on the north
side of Vassar Avenue, between Middlebelt Road and Parkville Avenue (29200
Vassar Avenue), in the Southwest 1/4 of Section 1, the Council does hereby refer
this item to the committee for its report and recommendation.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
12. PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE LIVONIA CODE OF ORDINANCES, AS
AMENDED: Department of Law, re: Petition 2015-12-03-02, submitted by
Schoolcraft College, requesting to vacate the existing on-site public sanitary
sewer, storm sewer, and water main easements, such utilities becoming private
and with Schoolcraft College assuming all responsibility for the operation and
maintenance of same, located on the southeast corner of Seven Mile and Haggerty
Roads (39201 Seven Mile Road), in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 7. (CR 150-16)
13. REQUEST TO RENEW TOWING CONTRACT FOR A PERIOD OF THREE (3)
YEARS: Division of Police, re: to perform towing services and to amend Section
240 of Title 10, Chapter 21 (Traffic Violations) of the Livonia Code of Ordinances
and to allow an increase of towing and storage fees. (CR 274-13, CR 106-09 and
CR 116-11)
NEW BUSINESS
14. REQUEST TO AMEND COUNCIL RESOLUTION 03-16: Charlotte Mahoney,
Livonia Symphony Orchestra, re: to reflect the correct organization name, Livonia
Symphony Society, Inc., as required by the State of Michigan.
15. ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT OF EASEMENT: Department of Law, re: secured
without monetary consideration from Meyers Atlantic LLC, in connection with the
sidewalk constructed at 13301 Middlebelt Road related to Applebee's Restaurant
for a variable width public utility easement in the Northeast '/4 of Section 26.
