OF THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF LIVONIA
On Tuesday, May 28, 1968, the City Planning Commission of the City of Livonia,
held its 245th Special Meeting at the City Planning Commission office, 13325
Farmington Road, Livonia, Michigan.
Mr. Charles Walker, Chairman, called the meeting to order at approximately 11:05
p.m.
Members present: Marvin Moser Harry Wrightman Donald Pollock
Raymond W. Tent Donald Heusted Charles Walker
Members absent: Myra Chandler
Mr. Don Hull, Planning Director, was also present.
On a motion duly made by Mr. Tent, seconded by Mr. Pollock, and unanimously adopted
it was
#5-57-68 RESOLVED that, the City of Livonia Planning Commission does hereby
place a moratorium on the processing of rezoning petitions for multi-
family site plans to begin on June 1, 1968 and continue for siz months
from that date in order that Building Codes and related ordinances can
be upgraded to insure a higher quality of multi-family construction.
Mr. Walker, Chairman, declared the motion carried and the foregoing resolution
is adopted.
On a motion duly made by Mr. Tent, seconded by Mr. Wrightman, and unanimously
adopted, it was
#5-58-68 RESOLVED that, the City Planning Department staff is hereby
requested to make a map indicating the location of all churches
in the City of Livonia.
Mr. Walker, Chairman, declared the motion carried and the foregoing resolution
is adopted.
On a motion duly made by Mr. Moser, seconded by Mr. Pollock, and unanimously
adopted, the City Planning Commission adjourned its 245th Special Meeting held
on May 28, 1968, at approximately 11:15 p.m.
