MINUTES OF THE 246th SPECIAL MEETING
LIVONIA PLANNING COMMISSION
CITY OF LIVONIA
On Tuesday, July 2, 1968, the City Planning Commission of the City of Livc: ,
held its 246th Special Meeting at the City Planning Commieeion Office, 13325
Farmington Road, Livonia, Michigan.
Members present: Marvin Moser Harry Wrightman Donald Pollock
Raymond W. Tent Donald Heusted Charles Walker
Robert Colomina
Members absent: Myra Chandler
Mr. John Nagy, Assistant Planning Director and Ralph Bakewell, Planner III, were
present also.
Mr. Charles W. Walker, Chairman, called the meeting to order at 11:30 p.m.
On a motion duly made by Mr. Wrightman, seconded by Pt. Pollock, and unanimously
adopted, it was
#7-67-68 RESOLVED that, pursuant to a public hearing having been held on
June 11, 1968, the City Planning Commission does hereby recom-
mend to the City Council that the preliminary plat of Livonia
Freeway Industrial Park Subdivision No. 1, located in the West
1/2 of Section 18, be approved for the following reasons:
(1) It is of high enough quality and consistent with all
subdivision rules and regulations to merit approval.
(2) It is consistent with the Master Plan for that area of the
City.
FURTHER RESOLVED, notice of the above hearing was sent to the
abutting property owners, proprietor, City Departments as listed
in the Proof of Service and copies of the plat together with notice
have been sent to the Building Department, Superintendent of Schools,
Fire Department, Police Department and Park & Recreation Department.
Mr. Walker, Chairman, declared the motion carried and the foregoing resoluticn
is adopted.
On a motion duly made by Mr. Tent, seconded by Mr. Wrightman, and unanimously
adopted, the City Planning Commission adjourned its 246th Special Meeting
held on July 2, 1968 at approximately 11:45 p.m.
