MINUTES OF THE 276th SPECIAL MEETING
HELD BY THE CITY PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF LIVONIA
On Tuesday, December 12, 1972, the City Planning Commission of the City of Livonia,
held its 276th Special Meeting in the Engineering Building located at 13325 Farmington
Road, Livonia, Michigan.
Mr. Daniel R. Andrew, Chairman, called the meeting to order at 11:40 p.m.
Members present: Daniel Andrew Joseph Talbot Joseph Falk
Charles Pinto David Merrion Suzanne Taylor
Members absent: Herman Kluver Francis Hand Esther Friedrichs
(death in family).
Messrs. John J. Nagy, Planning Director and H. G. Shane, Planner IV, were also
present.
On a motion duly made by Mr. Pinto, seconded by Mr. Falk and unanimously adopted,
it was
#12-336-72 RESOLVED that, pursuant to Section 18.58 of Ordinance #543, the
Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, as amended by Ordinance
#988, the City Planning Commission does hereby approve Petition
72-12-8-43P by Joseph St. Cyr for Christ Mugianis requesting
iL0 approval of all plans required by Section 18.58 submitted in
connection with the proposed construction of a banquet hall
facility on property located on the south side of Plymouth Road
between Yale and Levan Roads in Section 32, subject to the
following conditions:
(1) That Site Plan A2-7202, revised December 8, 1972, prepared
by St. Cyr, Architect, is hereby approved and shall be
adhered to.
(2) That all landscaping as shown on the approved site plan
shall be installed before issuance of a Certificate of
Occupancy.
(3) That landscaping installed shall be permanently main-
tained and kept in a healthy condition.
(4) That Building Elevation Plan A4-7202, revised December 8,
1972, which is hereby approved, shall be adhered to.
Mr. Andrew, Chairman, declared the motion is carried and the foregoing resolution
adopted.
On a motion duly made by Mr. Pinto, seconded by Mrs. Taylor and unanimously adopted,
it was
#12-337-72 RESOLVED that, pursuant to Section 18.58 of Ordinance #543, the
Zoning Ordinance of the City of Livonia, as amended by Ordinance
#988, the City Planning Commission does hereby approve Petition

72-10-8--39P by Chris Scourtes for Northwest Starlit T.V.
requesting approval of all plans required by Section 18.58
submitted in connection with the proposed construction of
a retail store complex on property located on the east side
of Middlebelt Road between West Chicago and Joy Road in
Section 36, subject to the following conditions:
(1) That Site Plan 411683, prepared by Clark W. Corey,
revised December 8, 1972, which is hereby approved
shall be adhered to.
(2) That the building elevations as shown on the approved
Site Plan shall be adhered to.
(3) That Landscape Plan prepared by the Planning Department
and signed by the applicant and agreed to by the owner,
shall be adhered to.
(4) That all landscape material as shown on the approved
landscape plan shall be installed before issuance of
a Certificate of Occupancy.
(5) Any portion of the protective wall, as required by the
Zoning Ordinance, that may be waived shall be replaced
by an extension of the established greenbelt located on
the south and north property lines at the ingress and
egress points to the property.
Mr. Andrew, Chairman, declared the motion is carried and the foregoing resolution
adopted.
On a motion duly made, seconded and unanimously adopted, the 276th Special Meeting
held by the City Planning Commission on December 12, 1972, was
adjourned at approximately 11:55 p.m.
