2. Greenmead Foundation Meeting
a. Inquiring about becoming a foundation so that
persons who want to donate directly to Greenmead
can do so and the money goes directly to Greenmead
i. 501-C is more efficient; The Friends of
Greenmead started the process entitled
"Friends for the Development of Greenmead"
ii. Application to do so is between $5,00048,000
per Linda Wiacek's account of the meeting
ii. Commission Shirts
1. Patti Trojan did some shopping and pricing
a. Beck n' Boys will do them for $20.50 which includes
shirts and embroidery
b. Decision: 100% polyester shirt in Royal Blue

1. T-shirts for volunteers by Beck n' Boys done by Emily

a. Additional events for 2017 — (PT) pancake dinner/ lunch / brunch?
i. Chris Cakes of Michigan cooks and entertains by flipping you your
pancake
1. They provide everything but ask for tables for condiments
ii. Proposed date: July 9th, alternate of July 16th
iii. Presale of tickets
1. $7 tickets
iv. 1112 Motion made by Deanna Brown & seconded by Nancy Frye
1. Motion made to do a pancake breakfast and potential 5K
walk/run as a fundraiser for the school on July 9, 2017.
b. Election of Officers for 2017 — Sandi Pritchard

c. 11/3 Motion by Sandi Pritchard to create a circle driveway at Hill House for
handicap use.

• Proposed by Linda Wiacek that 17th members attend a school board meeting to
promote Guns N' Gowns — once before the 2016/2017 school year ends and
again in September for the 2017/2018 year.
