what it relates too.

Cemetery walk meeting, next Monday 1pm.
New Issues
Cemetery walk- September, making posters and such
Hill House basement door- wood panels are soft, door has trouble locking. Have issues
with people being able to get in, a replacement metal door changing the trim profile.
K. Glynn made motion to install half-rounded 4-6” gutter as suggested in Hill
House section of Greenmead Farm Complex architectural survey and report
1991 by Kirkarchitecture, and a new wood door to replace to match with 6 lights
and 2 vertical panels painted to match the siding. Seconded D. Knapp, Ayes-5
Nay-0
DUR door – 5 horizontal panels and painted. K. Johnson -Bartshe inspected, panels are
not soft but falling, can be repaired.
D. Knapp makes a motion to first take all efforts to repair the door and if it cannot
then replace with a wood door to match and painted. Seconded by R. Bakewell

Geer store chimney, pulling away from building, will be removed starting tomorrow.
Footing is too small, would have to completely rebuild. Not sure if original to building,
added later or added when moved to Greenmead.
K. Glynn made a motion for the Geer store to:
• repair or replace the chimney as needed;
• replace with a new, appropriate footing as suggested by contractor and
reviewed by the city inspector;
• Reuse of existing bricks as much as possible.
Seconded by R. Bakewell, Ayes -5, Nays-0
City Center cemetery arch- 3 quotes. 2 ready- $5,500 for full replacement. Diesños-
reusing posts, replace backing of arch and curliques, painted and installed $4,352.38.
Great Lakes Fabrication- thought more could be saved. Sanded and repainted, $? (still
waiting). Last 2 both said that the tops of the posts are totally gone, not sure what it was
there as well. Budgetary issues discussed with consideration to the arch repair- does
our single budget cover the whole expense? If used, the HPC budget would be
depleted. Inspection of the other cemetery gates/fences is suggested to be aware of
any issues and if there may be future expenses.
R. Bakewell made a motion to repair or replace the materials for the city center
cemetery arch as proposed by the contractor to be selected. Seconded – K.
