gear that have surpassed their usable life expectancy, at a cost of $2,013.00 per
set, from budgeted funds.
2. REQUEST FOR AUTHORIZATION TO PURCHASE SCBA AIR FILLING
STATION THROUGH THE HOUSTON GALVESTON AREA COUNCIL (HGAC-
BUY): Livonia Fire & Rescue, re: to purchase one (1) Stallion Air Centaur All-In-
One 3-position Breathing Air Compressor/Cascade System, from budgeted funds.

3. REQUEST PERMISSION FROM WAYNE COUNTY TO CLOSE A PORTION OF
FARMINGTON ROAD TO HOST LIVONIA’S ANNUAL MEMORIAL DAY
CEREMONY: Department of Parks & Recreation, re: to close Farmington Road
north and southbound from Five Mile Road to Roycroft, on Saturday, May 25,
2019, from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
4. AWARD OF BID: Department of Parks & Recreation, re: for Leisure Pool
renovations including removal of sundecking, install new decking, deck drain
replacement, refinishing of pool floor, light fixture repairs, pool gutter replacement,
and the addition of rope anchors at the Jack E. Kirksey Recreation Center, from
budgeted funds. (CR 06-19)
5. AWARD OF BID: Department of Parks & Recreation, re: for maintenance work
on the water slide bolts and paint for the Leisure Pool renovation at the Jack E.

7. AWARD OF BID: Department of Parks & Recreation, re: for the water feature and
a new ADA lift installation for the Leisure Pool renovation at the Jack E. Kirksey
Recreation Center, from budgeted funds. (CR 06-19)
8. AWARD OF CONTRACT AND PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES
FOR THE FOOTING DRAIN DISCONNECTION PROGRAM (FDDP): Public
Service Division, re: to perform all necessary work to complete this project, from
budgeted funds.
9. REQUEST TO EXTEND CONTRACT WITH ETNA SUPPLY COMPANY, THE
SOLE SOURCE PROVIDER OF SENSUS METERS IN MICHIGAN: Public
Service Division, re: for water meters and supplies in an amount not to exceed
$1,500,000.00 annually, for a two-year extension. (CR 90-16)
10. AWARD OF BID: Public Service Division, re: for replacement and installation of a
new irrigation system at designated areas within the Civic Center Complex, from
budgeted funds.

12. ROLL CALL: Proposed amendment to the Livonia Code of Ordinances (Vacating),
as amended, Department of Law, re: Petition 2016-03-03-01 submitted by Grand
River Charter Development, Ltd, to vacate an existing storm water utility easement,
located on the south side of Eight Mile Road between Inkster and Angling Roads
(28153 Eight Mile Road), in the Northeast ¼ of Section 1. (CR 277-16)

Department of Law, re: to amend Subsection 040 of Section 60 (Housing
Commission) of Chapter 02 of Title 2 of the Livonia Code of Ordinances.

18. SITE PLAN PETITION: Planning Commission, re: Petition 2018-12-08-09
submitted by MIU Holdings, L.L.C. requesting to appeal Condition #5 by the City
Planning Commission to substitute a greenbelt and plantings in lieu of the required
masonry screen wall, along the north and west sides of the property, as well as
seeking site plan approval, located on the north side of Five Mile Road between
Hubbard and Farmington Roads (33014 Five Mile Road) in the Southwest ¼ of
Section 15.

NEW BUSINESS
19. ACCEPTANCE OF DONATIONS: Department of Parks & Recreation, re: of cash
and gifts from various contributors to be used for the purposes as designated by
donors.
20. ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT OF EASEMENT: Department of Law, re: secured
without monetary consideration from Smith-Watkins Investment, LLC, for a twelve-
foot (12’) wide public utility easement in connection with the development of new
storm sewer constructed at 31500 Pamco Drive in the Northeast ¼ of Section 27.
