19-297 RESOLVED, the Minutes of the October 10, 2019, meeting were approved as
written.
Agenda Item 2:
An email request was received between the October and November Commission meetings asking for a
“No Parking” sign near Curtis and Wayne Roads (Section 9) to alleviate school bus drop off and pick up
traffic concerns.
The request stated that the drivers ignore the parking rules and often park too close to the corners,
prohibiting other drives from clearly seeing traffic signs or other traffic in general. The Police Department
Traffic Bureau suggested that we first utilize enforcement by police presence and the issuance of
warnings and/or citations as needed.
