The Public Hearing was called to order at 7:13 p.m. with President Kathleen McIntyre
presiding. This is a Public Hearing relative to Proposed Special Assessment Street
Lighting Project for the Capri Court Site Condominiums, located West Farmington Road,
South of Eight Mile Road, in the Northeast ¼ of Section 4. Establishment of the
Assessment Roll. This item will move to the Regular Meeting of June 22, 2020.
The Public Hearing is now open. There was no one in the audience.
Zilincik: Madam President?
McIntyre: Yes, I was looking for you, Mr. Zilincik.
Zilincik: Hi, how is everyone doing? I have information regarding the Capri Court
Street Lighting SAD. There will be five lights installed, there are sixteen lots
and an additional one is an out lot, so a total of seventeen lots. Each
individual lot will be assessed $85.71. As you all know, the developer will
pay those costs associated with those lights installed by DTE if approved.
A total amount, I think on that cost of lights was $13,446.00 to be paid by
the developer. If approved, we will move forward to have those lights
installed sometime late fall. Any further questions, I’d be happy to answer
2
those for you. There will be LED lights, 72 watts, again, as shown in the
plan provided by DTE. Thank you.
McIntyre: Mr. Zilincik, I see that Mr. Cullough, you have a question or comment?
Councilmember McCullough.
McCullough: Thank you, Madam President. Just kind of reviewing the packet, everything
looks in line. You did cover the fact that these are LEDs, I’ll offer an
approving resolution, thank you.
McIntyre: Alright. Anyone else, anyone from the audience wishing to speak on this
item brought to Council? I don’t see anyone, I see no further comments or
questions from Council. Councilman McCullough has offered an approving
nd
resolution for the agenda for the Regular Meeting of June 22.
As there were no further questions or comments, the Public Hearing was declared
closed at 7:15 p.m.
