MINUTES OF THE ELECTION COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF LIVONIA, MICHIGAN
A meeting of the Election Commission of the City of Livonia, Michigan, was
held on Monday, February 8, 2021, at the Livonia City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive,
Livonia, Michigan at 2:00 p.m., at which time and place the following members of said
Commission were present:
Present: Paul Bernier, City Attorney
Susan Nash, City Clerk
Also Present: Lori Miller, Deputy City Clerk
Absent: Maureen Miller Brosnan, Mayor
Susan Nash assumed the duties as Chairperson of the Election
Commission.
Upon a motion by Commissioner Bernier, supported by Commissioner
Nash, and unanimously adopted, it was:
RESOLVED that the minutes of the Election Commission meeting held on
October 12, 2020 are hereby approved.
Susan Nash, City Clerk, stated this year we are holding three (3) elections:
a Special School Election on May 4, 2021, a City Primary on August 3, 2021, and a City
General on November 2, 2021. It is anticipated there will be a lower voter turnout than
was seen last year and in an effort to save money she is proposing to consolidate the
following precincts for all three elections. She indicated no voting locations will be
changed; all voters will still go to their regular voting places.
Upon a motion by Commissioner Bernier, supported by Commissioner
Nash, and unanimously adopted, it was:
RESOLVED that for the May 4, 2021 – Special School Election, the August
3, 2021 – City Primary Election, and the November 2, 2021 – City General
Election, the following precincts will be consolidated:

Upon a motion by Commission Nash, supported by Commissioner Bernier,
and unanimously adopted, this meeting of the Election Commission of the City of Livonia
was adjourned at 2:07 p.m. on February 8, 2021.
