V. Review of Events:
a. AMC Car Show – Didn’t do so well; food truck didn’t show up.
b. Touch-A-Truck – Went VERY well; it was a great idea to have the event in
the village. The shade really helped people and it allowed more people to
see the village. There was a slight issue with water being given away for
free and taking away funds for the Rotary. There should be at least one
building open for people to rest in air conditioning but needs to be
supervised.
c. Murder Mystery – First time hosting this event; good feedback from about
80 attendees. The event should be done again in the future with other
themes. We should send a thank you note to John for all his help with the
food.
d. Flea Market – Had an issue with some soccer parents driving through the
event. Emily’s re-numbering system helped make things run more
smoothly. Gift shop had some decent sales.
e. Corn Roast – Event went well. All the commissions were represented. The
corn crib was a real big hit with the kids. Attendees numbered around 500.
