NEW BUSINESS:
Michael Hesse requests discussion, comment, and review on recent speed study survey conducted on
Hathaway Street
EMAIL REQUESTS FROM CITY OFFICES (copies attached):
Sharon Jason, a resident on Louise Street (Section 2), has concerns with truck traffic using her street as a
cut-through to Middle Belt Road. She has contacted the Mayor’s office twice in the past two weeks
Carol Griest, a resident on Blue Skies (Section 19), has concerns with speeding traffic using Blue Skies as
a cut-through to Five Mile Road. The Mayor’s office has received a few other calls with similar concerns on
this street
Linda Trewin, a resident on Hubbard between Norfolk Street and Webster School (Section 3), has
concerns with speeding traffic, particularly when school is in session. Additionally, she is requesting “Deer
Crossing” signs near Eight Mile Road to alert drivers that deer could be present in this rural area

There was a Council resolution passed during the June 27, 2022 Regular Council Meeting pertaining to
vehicle haulers/loaders blocking the center lane of Plymouth Road. Police Chief Goralski has assigned this
matter to the Traffic Commission.
