Agenda Item 3: Intersection of Wayne Road and Industrial Roads In 2019, a letter was received noting that the intersection of Wayne and Industrial was dangerous. Many “near misses” and some accidents have occurred at this intersection. At that time, a request for a “Stop” sign was received. The findings of the data and research concluded that the intersection was sufficiently signed in its current state and no further action was taken. Another letter was recently received asking the Commission to revisit the issue and place “Stop” signs. It was noted that the current “Yield” sign on Northbound Wayne may be obstructed by trees. It was recommended that the trees be trimmed on northbound Wayne Road. The intersection is still considered to have sufficient signage, but will upgrade the visibility of the signs and add reflective tape to the poles. st MINUTES OF THE 791 REGULAR MEETING LIVONIA TRAFFIC COMMISSION CONT.
