Review of Meeting Minutes
11/01 Motion made by Jessica Katers and seconded by Kathy Johnson-Bartshe to
approve August meeting minutes, passed unanimously.
Current Issues:
Books “Restoring Your Old House” are in. They will be distributed to all property
owners.
Greenmead 365: Arthur Mullen from Wade Trim gave a mini presentation of
Greenmead 365 concept. 11/02 Motion was made by Brandon Kritzman and seconded
by Kristen Waterbury to accept Greenmead 365 concept as presented with the
recognition that further details and approvals will be required from the HPC as the
project progresses. Motion passed.
Orson-Everitt House – Steve Hall and Nancy Grabowski presented a color scheme for
the house (Dark Blue, Red, Beige and Gray). They will work on a color scheme for the
house using these colors. The accessory building has been repaired and painted blue
after an emergency meeting with HPC spokesperson Betsy. 11/03 A motion was made
by Brandon Kritzman and seconded by Jessica Katers to accept the four colors (dk
blue, red, beige and gray) so the owners can design a paint plan for the house.
New /Old Issues:
Virtual Cemetery Workshop November 18, at 9 a.m. 11/04 Motion made by Jessica
Katers and seconded by Brandon Kritzman to recommend approval of funds to attend
the cemetery workshop, motion approved unanimously.
Felician Sisters Mother House tour scheduled for December 3 or 10 in the afternoon.
MHPN training and homeowner’s seminar are possible training opportunities this next
year.
Noble Library - Letter from Jeff Dutka concerning City of Livonia scheduling a teardown
of Noble Library. Kristen will write a letter to the Mayor concerning the Library.
New Meeting dates – 2nd Wednesday of the month with scheduled voting dates of
January 11, April 12, July 12 and October 11. 11/05 Motion made by Jessica Katers
and seconded by Kathy Johnson-Bartshe to accept new meeting day and dates.
Passed unanimously.
Certificate of Approval – on hold
CLG Survey Request for funds from SHPO is open Oct. 3 until Feb 1.
Slate of Officers for 2022 – 2023: Chair: Betsy Calhoun; Vice Chair: Brandon Kritzman:
Secretary: Kathy Johnson-Bartshe. 11/06 Motion made by Brandon and seconded by
Jessica to recommend acceptance of the slate of officers for Historic Preservation
Commission for 2022 -2023 year. Motion passed unanimously.
Greenmead Update – The Clarenceville cemetery was damaged by a car accident. 3
fence panels and 9 stones were damaged. Newburg Cemetery stones are 10%
restored (110 stones completed this year). The unmarked grave markers for the
cemetery behind Trinity House are not ready.
