HomeMy WebLinkAbout2023-09 Agenda and Public Notice AGENDA MEETING OF THE ELECTION COMMISSION Approval of the Minutes of the Election Commission Meeting of Wednesday, July 26, 2023; Approval of Assignments for Election Inspectors, Receiving Boards, and Chairpersons, for the City General Election to be held Tuesday, November 7, 2023; and Approval of alternate workers for emergency substitution if needed; Approval of Compensation Rates for Election Workers, as follows: Roving Chairperson $250.00 per day + mileage Chairperson 235.00 per day Co-Chairperson 210.00 per day Inspectors 170.00 per day Part-time Inspectors (1/2 day) 85.00 per day Counting Board Chairperson 16.00 hourly rate Counting Board Co-Chairperson 14.00 hourly rate Counting Board Inspector 12.00 hourly rate Adjudicator 16.00 hourly rate Receiving Board 30.00 hourly rate Training Sessions 20.00 flat rate; and Approval and adoption of Resolution establishing Early Voting, in-person site location, days and times of operation for all Livonia Precincts for all federal and state elections pursuant to Proposal 22-2. The meeting has been called to approve Minutes of the Election Commission meeting held July 26, 2023; approve assignment of Election Inspectors, Receiving Boards, and Chairpersons, for the City General Election to be held Tuesday, November 7, 2023; approval of alternate workers for emergency substitution if needed; approval of compensation rates for election workers; and approval of Early Voting site location, days and times for all Livonia Precincts for all federal and state elections pursuant to Proposal 22-2. Proposed minutes of such meeting will be available for public inspection during regular business hours at the Office of the City Clerk not more than eight (8) business days after such meeting.
